SpongeBobSquarepants is made of chocolate cake and vanilla shortning buttercream to be able to stand the Caribbean humidity. Some details are made from fondant...I wish the whole cake could have been fondant as it would have been a cleaner finish. The legs are cake crumbs packed together with frosting (cakeballs).
